Ruben Brache (Broadway Producer)
Broadway Producer, Member, The League of American Theatres & Producers. Broadway: Little Women. Off-Broadway Shout! The Mod Musical. Following a 25-year career in information technology, media and Internet marketing, Ruben Brache founded eBroadwayPlays.com to usher in a new age of theatrical investment and philanthropy by allowing qualified investors and theatre patrons worldwide to invest in commercial productions, and to subscribe or donate to nonprofit theatre organizations, on the Internet. eBroadwayPlays.com accepts major credit cards. His current projects: a new musical for Broadway scheduled to open during the 2010-2011 season. Pioneered global theatrical online investment as founder of eBroadwayPlays.com, a community of theatre aficionados including commercial and nonprofit theatrical producers, performers, theatre industry professionals, patrons, benefactors and investors.
Annie Shapiro (Music Producer, Industrial Theatre)
Music producer at Drury Design Dynamics, a company that specializes in corporate entertainment. during her off hours she loves to think about where to forage her next meal. She is The Artistic Director of The Collective Theater in New York City.
Her goal is to provide an evolving company of people that brings gifted individuals together to express their artistic talents through new works that stimulate the political and emotional connections of human beings in an disconnected world. We seek new and provocative theater/performance art pieces and partner them with appropriate people to share their vision. We are actors, directors, writers, producers, technicians and dramaturges but not exclusively. Profit is not the goal, art for arts sake, and free expression is. The Collective is comprised of artists who want to share their unique strengths to bring work of merit to the small and large stage.
John Pallotta (Artistic Director of Cutting Edge)
John has been a professional actor for over 20 years and Playwright for 10 and has studied with acclaimed teachers such as William Hickey, Uta Hagen, Herbert Berghof, Earl Hyman, Salem Ludwig, Austin Pendleton and Anne Jackson.
For his work as a playwright, John has received several grants and awards from The Ford Foundation. His playwriting work includes VEGAS, his (co-written) first play, which was presented and read at the Lambs Theatre, read at Steppenwolf in Chicago, and recently read at the Dramatists Guild in NYC; the long running comedy hit, HOW I KILLED MY ROOMMATE…And Got Away With It, which ran for 2 years in New York City. JANE HO, which was originally read at The Dramatists Guild in NYC and made it's NYC Premiere on Theatre Row to outstanding and was recently accepted into the Actors Studio’s PD Unit under the direction of Cosmin Chaviu and read on Broadway this past April featuring actors trained in John’s advanced acting workshop; BEYOND THE PALISADES, which was work-shopped staring Emmy Award Winning Actress Jen Jiles. Other works in progress include THINGS I TELL MY PILLOW (Presently being cast for a Dramatists Guild reading on Broadway in June. Forthcoming plays include: DOWNTOWN WHORE, SO YOU WANNA BE IN PICTURES, WHEN I WAS BLACK, LOVE IS A VERB, and THE DRAMATIST.
