John Pallotta Studios and the Cutting Edge Theatre are a NYC based acting workshops that offers a safe and challenging work environment for the beginning or professional actor. The Studio is dedicated to training and preparing actors for professional work in the film and television industry. Classes are small and very individualized. So actors can work every week.

Classes at the Studio include Scene Study, Cold Reading, Improvisation, On-Camera (Coming Soon) Scene Study, Meisner Technique, and many other techniques designed to address the specific needs of the individual actor. Class members are also able to audition for parts by award-winning playwrightJohn Pallotta as part of his regularly staged productions at the studio's theatre spaces.

John Pallotta is award-winning playwright, actor and and master acting teacher. He is an actor and an award winning playwright in NYC, based and trained in both Method and Meisner Technique as taught by the late Lee Strassberg, Uta hagen, Herbert Bergof, Anne Jackson, Salem Ludwig and William Hickey as well as sessions with Lee Strasberg. He has performed in hundreds of productions, theatre, television shows and films, and has directed and produced for both stage and television.

John is uniquely gifted in troubleshooting the particular blocks that are holding an actor back form reaching their full potential, and in helping them break through those blocks.
