Have you been carrying around ideas for a play in your pocket for a long time? Did you start writing a play in the past and wish you could start again? Have you bogged down on a particular project? Jump start your writing with our 16 week 2 hr workshops aimed at helping you discover your dream. Through discussion, in-class writing, readings, and discovery, we'll give you the basic tools every playwright needs. At the end of our 16 week session, you will have drafted several passages and you'll have ideas for new work or new directions for old work– and new ideas for how to include writing in your life and what it takes to become a playwright! This class is taught by Critically Acclaimed Playwright John Pallotta, Artistic Director of The Cutting Edge Theatre and author of 18 plays.

At the end of 16 weeks you final project will be read and performed by professional actors in our advanced acting workshop.
